Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Saints Home ("we," "us," "our") operates thesaints.store (the "Site"). This page explains what information we collect when you visit or use the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Who we are
Saints Home is a small, independently-run shop selling sacred art prints and related digital and physical products, sold primarily through our Etsy store. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect information in a few limited ways:
- Newsletter sign-up. If you submit your email address through a sign-up form on the Site, we collect and store that email address to send you occasional updates and a free digital print, via our email provider, MailerLite.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, general location, device type, and interactions like button clicks or downloads. This data is aggregated and does not include your name or email address.
- Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar device identifiers to serve ads, measure ad performance, and — where you have given consent — personalize the ads you see based on your browsing activity.
- Wallpaper downloads. If you download a free wallpaper from the Site, we may log which wallpaper was downloaded (an anonymous event, not tied to your identity) to understand which designs are popular.
We do not collect payment information on this Site. All purchases are completed on Etsy, which has its own privacy policy governing that transaction.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense). If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or UK, a cookie banner on your first visit asks you to accept or decline before either is set:
- If you accept, both analytics and advertising cookies are enabled, including personalized ads based on your activity on this and other sites.
- If you decline, analytics and advertising cookies stay off. Google may still receive a basic, cookie-less signal needed to serve non-personalized ads and to estimate aggregate visitor numbers; this signal does not identify you individually and is not linked to a profile.
Outside those regions, cookie consent of this kind isn't a legal requirement, so no banner is shown and analytics and advertising cookies — including personalized ads — are enabled by default from your first visit.
If you're in the European Economic Area or UK, you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for thesaints.store and reloading the page, which will show the banner again.
How we use your information
- To send newsletter emails to subscribers, and to fulfill the free digital print offered in exchange for signing up
- To understand which pages, wallpapers, and content resonate with visitors, so we can improve the Site
- To detect and prevent abuse of forms and downloads (for example, basic rate-limiting)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third parties we use
- Netlify — hosts the Site and its backend functions
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics
- Google AdSense — serves the ads shown on the Site; see the Cookies section above for how your consent choice affects this
- MailerLite — newsletter email delivery
- Etsy — processes all purchases and order fulfillment
- Pinterest, Instagram — if you follow links from the Site to our social profiles, your interaction there is governed by that platform's own privacy policy
Pinterest integration and the Pinterest API
Saints Home maintains an official Pinterest profile (@TheSaintsOfficial) and uses the Pinterest API to manage and publish content to that profile — for example, to create Pins linking back to pages and products on this Site.
- Any data accessed or received through the Pinterest API (such as our own account and Pin performance information) is used solely to operate and improve our Pinterest presence and is not sold, rented, or shared with unrelated third parties.
- We do not use the Pinterest API to collect personal information about individual Pinterest users, and we do not use Pinterest data for advertising profiling outside of Pinterest's own platform.
- Any access tokens or credentials issued to us by Pinterest are stored securely as environment variables on our hosting provider (Netlify) and are never exposed in client-side code or committed to our source code.
- Our use of the Pinterest API complies with Pinterest's Developer Terms of Service and applicable Pinterest Developer Guidelines.
- If our integration with the Pinterest API changes in a way that affects what data is collected or how it is used, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.
- You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies via the cookie banner on your first visit, and change that choice later as described in the Cookies section above.
- You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing [email protected].
- If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have rights under the GDPR to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing — contact us to exercise these rights.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention
We retain newsletter subscriber email addresses for as long as you remain subscribed, and analytics data for the standard retention period set by Google Analytics. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
