Prayer for Discernment of Vocation
Written for the real, quiet worry many young adults carry — not knowing yet what shape their life is meant to take, whether marriage, a particular work, or something else entirely. Say it whenever that uncertainty starts to feel heavy, not only in a single moment of choosing.
Lord, You know me better than I know myself, and You have a purpose for my life even when I cannot see it yet. Quiet the noise of comparison and pressure. Open my ears to what You are inviting me toward, and my heart to accept it even if it is not what I expected. Give me patience with the not-knowing, and trust that You are not in a hurry with me. Lead me, one step at a time, toward the life You made me for. Amen.
