Prayer to Saint Cajetan for Providence
Saint Cajetan, a 16th-century Italian priest, founded charitable pawnshops offering fair credit to the poor and trusted entirely in divine providence for his own community's needs. He is honored today as patron of the unemployed and of workers seeking financial stability.
Saint Cajetan, you trusted God to provide for every need without turning to worry or despair. Look upon my financial worries with compassion. Ask God to open a way where I see none, and to give me the patience to trust His timing. Help me to be honest and hopeful as I face my debts and my needs, and to remember that providence has provided before. Amen.
