Prayer to Saint Joseph for Discernment
Saint Joseph is remembered in the Gospels for obeying God's will each time it came to him in a dream, without hesitation or complaint, making him a natural patron for anyone facing a hard decision. This prayer draws on that example rather than quoting a historical text.
Saint Joseph, you listened for God's voice and obeyed it without delay, even when the way was unclear. Help me to quiet my own noise and listen as you did. Show me the next right step, even if I cannot see the whole road. Give me your courage to act once I know God's will, and your patience while I wait to know it. Amen.
