A Simple Prayer Before a Trip
Not every trip calls for a grand pilgrimage prayer — sometimes it's just a flight to see family or a long drive on a Tuesday. This one is meant to be said quickly, buckled into a seat, before wheels start moving.
Lord, before I go, I ask for your protection. Watch over this road, this flight, this journey, and everyone traveling it with me. Keep my mind calm and my hands steady, guard against every accident and delay, and bring me safely to where I am going. I place this trip in your hands. Amen.
