Prayer for a Troubled Marriage
Not every marriage prayer can assume things are going well. This one is for the seasons that are actually difficult — after a serious argument, a betrayal, or just years of drift — when what's needed isn't a pretty sentiment but real help finding a way back to each other.
Lord, our marriage is struggling, and I bring that honestly to you. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is silence, give us words that are true and kind. Where there is anger, give us patience instead. Help us to see each other again as we did at the start, not as opponents, but as two people you joined together. If reconciliation is possible, lead us to it. Give us the courage it will take, and do not let us give up too soon. Amen.
