Prayer for Husband and Wife
Most historic marriage prayers were written to be prayed once, at the wedding itself. This one is meant for the years after — the ordinary Tuesdays of a marriage — when a couple wants to ask God to keep renewing what they promised on their wedding day.
Lord, bless my marriage and keep it strong. Help us to be patient with each other on hard days, and grateful for each other on good ones. Teach us to forgive quickly and to never stop choosing one another. Where we have grown distant, draw us back together. Where we are already close, deepen it further. Make our home a place of peace, and our love a sign of your own. Amen.
