Prayer to Saint Anthony for What Has Been Lost
Saint Anthony of Padua is best loved for finding what is lost, from the familiar folk rhyme ("Tony, Tony, look around") to centuries of devotion asking his help with misplaced objects. This prayer extends that same trust to something less tangible but just as real — lost financial security.
Saint Anthony, finder of what is lost, I bring to you not a misplaced object this time, but something harder to locate — the security I once had and no longer feel. Help me find steady ground again. Guide me toward the work, the help, or the way forward that will set things right, and until then, keep worry from taking hold of me. Saint Anthony, pray for me. Amen.
