Prayer for a Deceased Spouse

Lord, you joined us together, and now death has parted us for a time. Grant eternal rest to my beloved spouse, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Thank you for every year we shared, every ordinary day that I now see was a gift. Comfort me in this loneliness.
