A Wedding Anniversary Prayer
Anniversaries are a natural pause point in a marriage — a chance to look back at the years already lived together and ask God's blessing on the ones still ahead. This is meant to be prayed together, by both spouses, whether it's the first anniversary or the fiftieth.
Lord, on this day we married, we thank you. Thank you for every year you have given us together, the easy ones and the hard ones alike. Thank you for the love that has grown between us, deeper now than it was on our wedding day. Bless the year ahead of us. Keep us faithful, keep us kind, and let our marriage go on pointing others toward your love. Amen.
